Remaining Cosplay Conventions in the U.S. this 2025

Did you think the year was over for cosplay? Not at all! America still has epic events waiting for you before 2025 closes. From multi-genre fairs to conventions dedicated to anime and geek culture, there are options for every style. Here's what's going on in 2025, where they are and how to plan your participation.

1. C2E2 - Chicago, Illinois (November 14-16, 2025)

What is: Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2) is one of the biggest pop culture events in the Midwest. It's not exclusively cosplay, but #cosplay is everywhere: catwalks, Crown Championships, contests and lots of visual marching.

• Why go: the Crown Championships of Cosplay is a contest of the highest level, with professional and recognized cosplayers. It is a catwalk that summons all those who take this seriously.
• Official link: I am relying on previous editions for reference, as I could not yet find the page with confirmed dates specifically for 2025. It is usually posted on their official site or networks when the time comes.

2. Dragon Con - Atlanta, Georgia (Labor Day Weekend, early September 2025)

What is: Although it is a multi-genre convention (sci-fi, comics, cosplay, TV), Cosplay is one of the fundamental axes. In addition, it has public parade, panels, contests and fans of all levels.

• Why goThe official cosplay parade runs through downtown Atlanta. The energy is unbeatable and encompasses comics, anime and gaming in a single cauldron of fan service.
• Official link: As in the previous case, I could not find the direct URL with the 2025 date, but Dragon Con usually confirms dates in August via its portal and official networks.
