Non-essential cookies
If you give us your consent, we use non-essential cookies to recognize Referring Users and Referring Creators, within the Referral Program as set forth in our Terms of Service.
Currently we do not use cross-site tracking technologies.We do not sell the personal data we collect about you, nor do we share it for behavioral advertising across contexts.

What are cookies?
Cookies" are small strings of text or computer code stored locally on your device that allow us, and our third party service providers, to "remember" or "recognize" a specific browser or device and, in some cases, store information about them.
How long are cookies stored on my device?
Session cookies:
They are stored only during the browser session. When you close the browser, they are deleted.
Persistent cookies:
They are stored for a defined period (usually between 90 days and 2 years, depending on usage). They are not deleted when the browser is closed.
Your choice may affect whether we use session or persistent cookies. For example, if you choose "Remember me for 30 days" when logging into OtakuOshi, a persistent cookie is stored to keep your authentication active on that device.

Non-essential Cookies (Referral Program)
OtakuOshi has a Referral Program where existing Creators can share their referral code to invite others to become new Creators. The Program is subject to the Terms of Service and any referral payments are calculated and capped as stated in those terms.
In order for us to recognize the Referring User and the Referring Creator, it is necessary to accept these non-essential cookies. If either does not accept these cookies, we will not be able to recognize the referral or issue referral payments.
