Who writes and reviews the blog
Articles on the OtakuOshi blog are published under the byline OtakuOshi Team and reviewed by the multilingual editorial team at Polaris Nexus LLC, the company that operates OtakuOshi. It’s a team of people working from different countries who review each article in their own language, with first-hand knowledge of otaku culture, cosplay and manga in each market.
How we create each article
- Research: we start from official sources such as event websites, publishers, organisers and brands.
- Writing: drafts are prepared with the help of AI tools.
- Human review: an editor checks facts, dates, prices and links, edits the style and adds context and community experience.
- Translation and localisation: each version is reviewed by an editor fluent in that language, adapting dates, formats and references for the reader.
- Updates: we revise articles when dates or facts change and show the date of the latest update.
